Lists of Contributors to the Dionysia at Iasos (I.Iasos 160-162)

Images

The earliest series of lists of contributors to the Dionysia at Iasos were inscribed on a pilaster forming part of a doorway into the theatre. This stone was taken to Ireland by the 1st Marquess of Dufferin and Ava in the course of a Mediterranean cruise in 1859, and is now to be found in the entrance hall of Clandeboye House, County Down. Images of the first 3 lists beginning from the top of the pilaster are currently available from this page (I.Iasos 160-162).
