Subject: Two fragments from the anta wall of the temple of Athena at Priene belonging to a renewed late second-century BC demarcation of the territorial dispute between Priene and Samos over control of the coastal plain north of Mt. Mykale.
The inscription offers a good example of later second-century BC formal lettering.
Date: after 135 BC.
