Imaging the Papyri

The papyrus imaging project began in October 1997. Funding was renewed in Spring 1999, and staffing levels have risen by fifty per cent to one-and-a-half. Our work is done with a crash-happy PowerMac clone, a Fuji camera body, Phase One imaging gear, and the various connecting bits — plus the expertise of everyone who’s helping out.

If you would like us to move a particular papyrus to the front of the queue, READ THIS.
